Vision Panel @ JIAMCATT 2026

JIAMCATT is the “International Annual Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology”. Its membership includes most international organizations (at European and global level), as well as various national institutions and academic bodies, active in the field of terminology and translation.

LT-Innovate contributes a paper and a vision panel to this year’s JIAMCATT.

As a panelist Jochen Hummel, ESTeam and Coreon CEO, illustrates how Language Intelligence can bridge institutional intent and citizen impact. Namely only if multilingual knowledge and content are properly curated. As GenAI reaches human-level translation quality, government translation departments must evolve from document producers into stewards of trusted, multilingual knowledge. A LangOps approach enables this shift, powering AI that understands citizens across languages, ensures equity, and simplifies communication. In this role, language teams remain essential as the human layer that keeps GenAI accurate, trustworthy, and aligned with public needs.
